Robert Oswald Adler – Markneukirchen Master Clarinet
This clarinet comes from the workshop of Robert Oswald Adler (February 18, 1865, Hermsgrün – October 8, 1946, Markneukirchen), a prominent woodwind instrument maker in the Markneukirchen tradition. Adler produced high-quality clarinets in small batches and was known for meticulous craftsmanship, select woods, and robust, precise mechanics.
Since the company only existed until the mid-20th century, Adler clarinets are now highly sought-after original instruments from the golden age of instrument making in the Vogtland region.
