The saxophones in the SX90R series offer a rich timbre and powerful tone that suits the player in any style of music from classical to jazz. Features include a wide-scale bow and bell construction that allows for better response and a fuller tone in the lower register, flanged tone holes to improve projection and extend the life of the pads, adjustable side flaps that can be adjusted in height for each player's comfort, and a G# lifter mechanism to prevent sticking pads/flaps. The different finishes are not only visually very attractive, but also contribute to the different tones that each variant offers.
