The mechanics of the Schreiber D41 clarinet have been enhanced with a twelfth key joint on the upper joint, as well as a double C key, an F lever, and a mechanism for playing a high E on the lower joint. This allows for additional fingering combinations. Furthermore, the instrument offers a significantly improved tonal range for individual notes.
