1. Delivery
Delivery is made to the delivery address provided by the customer.
For business customers (§ 14 German Civil Code – BGB): the risk passes to the customer as soon as the goods have been handed over to the shipping carrier.
For consumers (§ 13 BGB): the risk passes only upon delivery to the customer.
All prices are final prices including statutory VAT plus any applicable packaging and shipping costs.
The customer is obliged to check the goods immediately upon receipt for transport damage. Any visible damage must be reported immediately to the shipping company and to us.
Delivery times are non-binding unless a fixed date has been expressly agreed in writing.
2. Minimum Order Value
The minimum order value is €25.
For smaller order amounts, a small-quantity surcharge of €5 applies.
3. Warranty
The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper handling, lack of care, incorrect accessories, or interventions by third parties.
Natural wear and tear is not covered by warranty obligations.
For consumers:
- 24 months warranty for new goods
- 12 months warranty for used goods
For business customers:
- 12 months warranty for new goods
- 6 months warranty for used goods
In the event of a warranty claim, we have the right to choose between repair or replacement delivery.
4. Payment Terms
Invoices are due immediately and without deduction unless otherwise agreed in writing.
In case of late payment, we charge default interest in accordance with § 288 BGB.
Further claims for damages remain reserved.
5. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Consumers (§ 13 BGB) have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period begins when the customer receives the goods.

Excluded from withdrawal:
- unsealed audio or video recordings
- mouthpieces, reeds, and other hygiene-related items if the seal has been broken
- services that have already been fully performed after the customer gave explicit prior consent
6. Effects of Withdrawal
In the event of withdrawal, all received goods and payments must be returned.
The customer must compensate any loss in value if it results from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to check their condition.
The customer bears the direct costs of return shipping.
Unpaid (freight-collect) returns will not be accepted.
7. Fixed Book Price Regulations
Sheet music and books are subject to statutory price fixing.
An exchange of sheet music, books, and sealed sound carriers is excluded.
8. Data Protection
We process personal data based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to fulfil the contract.
No separate consent is required for this.
Consent for newsletters or advertising is only given voluntarily and separately.
9. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
For business customers, German law applies exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Place of jurisdiction is Mannheim, provided the customer is a merchant or business entity.
10. Severability Clause
If individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
